(Deck 6) "The 710 Club" has a stylish cocktail bar lounge served by professional mixologists. This sophisticated music bar offers live acoustic performances by top-quality artists. One of the main differences is the Magrodome retractable roof on Arvia, enclosing decks 16, 17 and 18. This structure, which is an evolution of Iona’s fixed Skydome, is a creation of designer Martin Francis. It is intended to provide a light open air top deck to facilitate shows and musical performances in both cold and warm climates. One of the new-to-the-line bars debuting on Arvia is Amber Lounge within the dramatic Grand Atrium.

We’re as intrigued as we are excited by this new dining offering onboard. A new addition to The Quays -- a multiple-venue piazza first rolled out on Iona to replicate a street-food-style setting -- Roast Carvery is set to reinvent the classic Sunday roast. New to Arvia (and the fleet) is 6th Street Diner, complete with a jukebox, retro-style banquette seating and a menu featuring classic American comfort food such as burgers, hot dogs, ribs and mac 'n' cheese. We're big fans of escape rooms and excited to try the two one-hour experiences (one for adults and one family-friendly) for ourselves. Elsewhere there's the Horizon buffet on Deck 16 as well as Deck 8's The Quays, a food court which offers small prepared plates alongside stands serving noodles, fish and chips and "Roast in the Quays". This is another new-to-the-line offering and is an original take on the traditional Sunday Roast -- dished up in a giant Yorkshire pudding instead of on a plate.

Ports of Call for P&O Arvia
The recently-launched ‘Excel class’ ships Iona and Arvia rival some of the world’s biggest cruise ships for activities, while retaining the very British experience that the line is known for. Small salads and desserts are also available throughout the opening hours. Outside seating increases capacity significantly when the weather is good.
